Meta Ray-Ban owner here! I purchased it after Kenji Lopez Alt's review(s) last winter and promptly took them on a ski trip where the battery life did not hold up well at all. Lithium-ion batteries in freezing weather don't do well. Besides the thick frames that prompted my 4-year-old telling me I look like a 'teacher,' no other complaints.
